Description: Growing up in the church, one of my favorite hymns is Amazing Grace. I love the melody, but more than that the words. I cannot begin to count the number of times that I have sung this beautiful hymn. In this design, I have drawn the chains set apart and floating free in the design. I have also placed a cross on a shield. In the hymn are the words, “My chains are gone, I’ve been set free,” and “He will my shield and portion be...” We were all lost, but through Christ have been found, our chains thrown off, and we have been set free! Biblical Reference: John 1:14,16: The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.
